The Problem
The client was struggling with long lead times and inconsistent part quality from their current machine shop. Looking for a better solution, they approached BODE with several small orders to evaluate our capabilities.
After successfully completing these initial projects and exceeding their expectations, the client entrusted us with a larger order for specialized shutter collars.
These shutter collars required a unique square center cut that could not be produced using conventional machining methods. Confident in our capabilities and experience, our team was ready to take on the challenge.
The Solution

To manufacture the specialized shutter collars, our team used a specialized EDM machine to create the precise square center cut required by the client. Once the machining process was complete, we added the necessary threading, performed thorough quality inspections, and prepared the parts for shipment.
By delivering high-quality parts ahead of schedule and maintaining clear communication throughout the process, we helped the client overcome the challenges they had experienced with their previous machine shop.
