Mezzanine Extension Assists as Support Structure
Mezzanines may be thought of as being one-dimensional in terms of uses based on the assumption that mezzanines are only for supporting personnel, inventory, and/ or equipment. This is not the case, in fact one of the other uses is to support overhead systems such as electrical wiring and air flow for machines. Mezzanines designed for this use look much different than the conventional style, but still maintain the same function of offering that additional level of usage space to the facility.
We expanded an existing mezzanine structure of this style for a manufacturer in Manchester, New Hampshire. This mezzanine is responsible for supporting the facility’s water and electrical systems for its production area machines. These extensions will allow for further support of these systems in order to increase facility safety and overall efficiency.
