Safety gates offer access to areas that are closed off with guarding or guard railings. Whether these are around your loading docks, fork truck lanes, or mezzanines there is a safety gate that can benefit your operation.
At Bode, we can assist with any type of safety gate need including:
- Loading Dock Gates
- Personnel Gates
- Pallet Access Gates
- Guardrail Gates
Loading Dock Safety Gates
Loading dock gates provide protection and access at a loading dock operation, allowing fork trucks and personnel to move in and out of the dock while remaining safe from injury. These gates can also keep dock levelers and edge-of-docks safe as they provide impact resistance from fork trucks and trailers.
Personnel Safety Gates
Personnel gates offer protection and access to individuals around guarded-off areas of the facility. These gates can be placed next to pallet gates or loading dock gates in order to provide a separate access way for your staff in conjunction to the loading dock or pallet gate which offers access to incoming and exiting materials.
Pallet Access Safety Gates
Pallet access gates offer access to materials being transferred to or from a second level or mezzanine level. Once the pallet access gate is opened, materials can be lifted via forklift to the elevated or mezzanine surface; then be moved once more by personnel at the top. The gate can easily be closed soon after to maintain maximum safety.
Additional Solutions For Safety Gates
We offer additional solutions to complement these gates as well.
Wildeck’s EdgeAlert™ Open Gate Alarm. This solution increases facility safety and assists in avoiding OSHA violations by continuously monitoring gate status and letting personnel know when the gate is not properly closed.
Wildeck’s Guardrail gates provide easy pass-through that allows both forklifts and personnel to quickly access work areas on the ground. These solutions can be incorporated into both heavy-duty and medium-duty Wildeck guardrail systems.
