The Ultra-compact storage in the Hanel Lean-Lift frees up this floor space for production processes. This is used for the height optimized storage of hardware, bolts, brackets, and other similar items in their facility.
Employees at DIRTT Environmental Solutions use a barcode scanner and the Hanel MP controller for the picking process. A Pick-o-Light then shines down on the requested item for easy identification.
This process helps with minimizing human error and issues involving mix-ups. DIRTT had been so satisfied with the system in their headquarters in Calgary, Canada, that they decided to put another system in their Phoenix facility!

Stiles has a volume of more than 50,000 orders per year and a stock inventory valued at $40 million or more. Therefore, the company places a high demand on its warehousing and order picking operations.
Their demands were easily fulfilled by the company’s new Hanel Lean-Lifts, which store up to 75% of all spare parts required!
With the management software and synchronization with the ERP system, more than 300 orders can be processed for delivery every day!

#1 Cochran Automotive is the leading automotive retailer in Western Pennsylvania, and one of the top private dealer groups in the United States.
#1 Cochran’s Monroeville, PA Buick GMC dealership and their Robinson Township location needed even more service bays to support customer demand, along with wanting to add a premium customer service, such as an automated car wash. In order to not pay for new construction, but still make the necessary room, the company installed a Hanel Lean-Lift VLM and Rotomat vertical carousel.
Conveniently, there had been an unused corner where the machine was placed with easy access from all service bays. This allowed them to consolidate a large storage room full of shelves into just two storage units!
The Lean-Lift and Rotomat systems have provided faster and more convenient access to parts now that the items are brought directly to the user.
